Google + H&M = customized data skirt

Past few years, forerunner of leading fashion began to adapt with beauty sector, O2O technology and trend of customized. Now, the first to achieve this vision is by H&M’s digital fashion house Ivyrevel, a Swedish company recently announced that the company will launch the industry’s first customized skirt Android App. Ivyrevel has been trying to use algorithms and data analysis to develop digital customization for consumers.

Last year, Google announced a new awareness API that would allow Apps could monitor where you traveled, what you were doing or hang out, what’s daily lifestyle in order to more intelligently react to your preferences. Google and Ivyrevel team spent more than a year to develop this digital apparel application, which embedded a program called Coded Couture to study the user’s lifestyle and daily activities. In future Google + H&M are taking advantage of these data to design a unique skirt for user. Specifically, it takes only a week time to collect these information in order to create a personal digital tailored skirt.

The idea is user can translate their lifestyle into a unique wearable look base on own preferences. It analysis user data to provide a variety of dress for different venue and scene and users do not have to worry as they are free to adjust the skirt colour, material and design. The data dress starting price at 100USD, Google and Ivyrevel allow ordinary people to enjoy unique custom skirt.

Personalized customization is always to attract consumption. Consumer today needs fresh ideas apparel to stimulate the desire to buy.
